Who is Myshia LeBoss

Dr. Myshia LeBoss is a visionary leader, educator, and mentor with a dynamic career spanning over two decades. She holds a BFA in Dance, an MEd in Cross-Cultural Teaching, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Innovation with a specialization in Administration. With 24 years of experience in K-12 public education, Dr. LeBoss has dedicated herself to transforming the lives of children and adults through teaching, coaching, and leadership.

Drawing from her background as a professional dancer and seasoned educator, Dr. LeBoss created Leaders in Motion, a groundbreaking embodied leadership development program that integrates movement with transformative leadership practices. Her innovative approach inspires leaders to develop empathy, resilience, and creativity through the power of dance and movement.

Dr. LeBoss has played a pivotal role in the educational landscape, helping to establish two charter schools—Aveson School of Leaders and Aveson Global Leadership Academy—where her influence on curriculum, school culture, and leadership development left an indelible mark. Her expertise has also been recognized through her service as president of the California Dance Educators Association, an executive board member of the teacher's Union, and co-founder of the Southern California Dance Festival (SCDF), a vibrant platform celebrating artistry and community.
